Tandy School of Computer Science welcomes two new faculty for fall 2023
Bo Hui
Assistant Professor
Hui received a B.S. in computer science from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2013 and a Ph.D. in computer science and software engineering from Auburn University in 2023. His research interests span the areas of data mining, machine learning and databases. He works on developing efficient and effective methods to model complex data toward a better understanding of domain-specific problems. Publications at

Wanwan Li
Assistant Professor
Li received a B.E. in computer science and technology from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2014, an M.S. in computer science from the University of Central Florida in 2016, and a Ph.D. in computer science from George Mason University in 2021. Prior to joining The University of Tulsa, he served as a visiting assistant professor at the University of South Florida. His research interests are in the fields of computer graphics and virtual reality, including work integrating robotics and virtual reality in mixed-reality environments.
