iSec is committed to maintaining the University’s rigorous information assurance curriculum, with the chief goal of producing exceptional graduates who will make significant contributions as professionals and leaders in the field. iSec is committed to instilling the principles of lifelong learning and knowledge transfer at the highest levels.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students can learn about cybersecurity through a variety of means. Security courses taught at the undergraduate level include:

  • CS 3353 System Administration
  • CS 3863 CCDC Training
  • CS 3863 Introduction to Cyber Security
  • CS 4153 Computer Security
  • Secure Electronic Commerce
  • MIS 4073 Information Security

Graduate Students

Graduate students can pursue the following degrees: MS in Computer Science, MS in Cyber Security, PhD in Computer Science and PhD in Computer Engineering.

Cyber security skills are in high demand, yet supply is lacking. Industry estimates that over a million cyber security jobs worldwide remain unfilled, with more than 200,000 of those in the United States. Graduates of TU’s M.S. in Cyber Security are well equipped to meet the demand and serve in intellectually stimulating and personally rewarding roles that strengthen national and global security. Graduates of the program master the theory, concepts, and techniques of information assurance and network defense in real-world environments.
