Jackson honored by SWE

Christina Jackson (BS ’05, PhD ’10) received the Society of Women Engineers Region I Invigorating Award in March. She also will receive the 2016 SWE National Emerging Leader honor at the association’s national conference in Philadelphia in October.

Christina Bishop-JacksonJackson is a senior engineering manager at Tulsa’s Callidus Technologies where she has worked for the past nine years. She manages a team of structural, mechanical and quality engineers globally who provide proposal assistance and detailed engineering for the company’s Flare, Thermal Oxidier and SCR product lines. Jackson is a Six Sigma Black Belt and was awarded Honeywell’s Top Green Belt Mentor for 2014 in recognition of her assistance in mentoring and certifying more than 40 green belts.

She is a member of the SWE and the Tulsa Engineering Foundation and enjoys teaching. Jackson received the New Face of Engineering award from the American Institute of Chemical Engineers in 2011.
